Deepal Presents Miss Universe Nepal 2026 Opens Applications, Grand Finale Set for September 6
KATHMANDU: Global Glamour Venture has officially launched the application process for Deepal Presents Miss Universe Nepal 2026, marking the beginning of the search for the country’s next representative on the international Miss Universe stage.
The announcement was made during a launch event held on Friday at The Soaltee Kathmandu, where organizers unveiled plans for this year’s edition and confirmed key details about the competition.
Speaking at the event, Miss Universe Nepal National Director Sangita Puri said the organizing team has made extensive preparations to deliver a larger and more impactful edition of the national pageant.
“We have worked hard to make this year’s competition even grander,” Puri said, adding that the Miss Universe Nepal 2026 Grand Finale will be held on September 6, 2026, at The Soaltee Kathmandu.
In a significant announcement, Global Glamour Venture CEO Sabi Puri confirmed that the competition will continue its inclusive eligibility policy, allowing both married and unmarried women to participate. She also announced that Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) women living abroad are eligible to apply, broadening opportunities for Nepali women across the globe to compete for the national crown.
Organizers said this year’s competition will continue to focus on identifying women who demonstrate confidence, leadership, intelligence, purpose, and the ability to serve as global ambassadors for Nepal.
The stage production and choreography for the 2026 edition will once again be led by Prashant Tamrakar, who will oversee the creative direction of the pageant’s live performances and presentations.
Automobile brand Deepal has joined the competition as the title sponsor for this year’s edition. Addressing the event, Deepal CEO Bibek Sikaria expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, saying the company is proud to be associated with one of Nepal’s most prestigious beauty pageants and to support a platform that empowers women and celebrates their achievements.
With applications now officially open, aspiring contestants from Nepal and the global Nepali diaspora are invited to submit their entries. Detailed information regarding eligibility requirements, the application process, and audition schedules will be announced through the official Miss Universe Nepal platforms.
The Miss Universe Nepal 2026 competition is expected to culminate with the grand finale on September 6, when the next national titleholder will be crowned and earn the opportunity to represent Nepal on the global Miss Universe stage.
